Harvest for Hunger/Harvest for Hunger Overview

Harvest for Hunger

In 2021, we will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Harvest for Hunger campaign. There are many ways to get involved – this year will look a bit different and will focus on virtual opportunities - hosting virtual employee food & fund drives, matching employee donations, new sponsorship opportunities, safe group volunteering, and so much more.

In 2020, the Harvest for Hunger Campaign took on a new form with a new sense of urgency in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020 campaign was unlike any other. As companies and employees adjusted to remote work arrangements, many campaign events and drives were re-envisioned, postponed or cancelled. We even extended the campaign window to allow partners time to adjust, but one thing remained the same – Northeast Ohioans rallied together to help their neighbors in a time of unprecedented need.

The Food Bank has been humbled by the generosity of our community since the start of the pandemic but we know we have a long road ahead of us. It will take years for our community and our neighbors to get back on their feet, which is why the 2021 Harvest for Hunger campaign will be more important than ever before.

We are looking forward to working with you for the 2021 campaign! If you have any questions, please email harvestforhunger@clevelandfoodbank.org or call 216.738.2140.

Thank you for your continued support!

Why is your help critical to our hunger relief efforts? Unfortunately, the number of people turning to hunger centers for emergency food continues to rise. Harvest for Hunger is an important source of support for these hunger centers and the hundreds of thousands of people turning to them for help. The need is great, but with your support we will make a difference!
