The Food Bank works with more than 100 community meal programs and shelters that serve prepared meals directly to their clients.
Community meals, sometimes known as hot meal programs or soup kitchens, can order food from the Food Bank and prepare a meal for their community using their own staff or volunteers. These meals are prepared free of charge to those in need and are served in a congregate setting or clients can take meals home to consume.
The Food Bank works with shelters in Northeast Ohio who provide housing and food to clients at no cost. There are more than a dozen shelters in the area that are served by the Greater Cleveland Food Bank.
These partners can also order a nutritious, prepared meal from the Food Bank Kitchen. Click here for more information about our on-site kitchen.
