About/Visitor Guidelines

Welcome, Visitors!

The Greater Cleveland Food Bank has the following requirements in place for all visitors within our facility*:

  • Visitors displaying any signs of illness (including persistent cough, fever, or shortness of breath) are asked to refrain from entering the facility until their symptoms have subsided.
  • Visitors will be required to wear a mask that covers both nose and mouth at all times while inside of the facility. You are encouraged to bring your own, and disposable masks will also be available onsite.
  • Visitors will be required to maintain six feet of distance between themselves and all others at all times.
  • Upon arrival, visitors will automatically have their temperature taken via thermal camera. Please remove hats upon arrival to help prevent errors in this process. Visitors that register a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher will be unable to enter the facility.

Visitor Travel Policy*

The State of Ohio announced a travel advisory, effective July 23, for all individuals coming into Ohio from states reporting positive COVID-19 testing rates of 15 percent or higher. Those traveling from one of the following states should refrain from volunteering and self-quarantine for 14 days at home or in a hotel.

  • Alabama
  • Arizona
  • Florida
  • Georgia
  • Idaho
  • Mississippi
  • Nevada
  • South Carolina
  • Texas

The self-quarantine recommendation applies to those who live in Ohio and to people who are traveling into Ohio from any of these states (as this list is updated, we will revise this list). Thank you for your support, and let us know if you have any questions at all by emailing info@greaterclevelandfoodbank.org.
