With an influx of older adults in need of critical food resources, the Greater Cleveland Food Bank is committed to improving access to nutritious food and healthy perishable product.
According to the Ohio Department of Aging’s Proponent Testimony, in Ohio, there are currently 2,814,200 adults older than age 60, making up 24.3 percent of the population. Because of the multiple factors increasing food insecurity among seniors, we are committed to safely and efficiently getting more nutritious food into the hands of seniors that need it the most.
