CLEVELAND – Summer can be a difficult time for children who rely on school meals to supplement their nutrition. The need continues to remain high and in the latest Map the Meal Gap data provided by Feeding America, 1 in 4 children in the Greater Cleveland Food Bank’s service area are food insecure. As part of the response to the increased need throughout the summer months, the Greater Cleveland Food Bank is pleased to launch its annual Summer Meals Program, beginning June 2. 2025. The Food Bank will provide healthy meals to 110 sites across its six county service area. Additionally, the Food Bank will be partnering with Children’s Hunger Alliance to provide healthy meals to children at 27 locations.
