Harvest for Hunger Preview

Harvest for Hunger is one of the nation’s largest community food and fund drives, covering 21 counties in Ohio in a multi-organizational initiative to help end hunger.

And it’s a 33-year tradition we’re proud to be a part of!

Last year, the Harvest for Hunger Campaign, with the help of individuals, companies, schools, nonprofits, and governmental entities, raised enough food and funds for over 29 million meals.

This year, our hope is to make the drive even bigger than ever. Here’s why:

• GCFB served 424,836 separate neighbors in Northeast Ohio last year
• 1 in 7 Northeast Ohioans struggle to put food on the table
• 1 in 4 children in Northeast Ohio are at risk of going hungry
• GCFB distributed 54.5 million pounds of food within our six-county service area
