Greater Cleveland Food Bank to Distribute Fresh Milk at Facility
Free, fresh milk will be available to families in need.
WHAT: The Greater Cleveland Food Bank will be distributing free, fresh milk to families in need at their facility on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays beginning January 14, 2019 through January 30, 2019. If you are in need of milk, please come to the Food Bank and enter through the main entrance. Staff will be in the lobby to assist you. Income eligibility guidelines apply. Please bring a photo ID and bags/boxes to carry milk in.
The Food Bank is scheduled to receive multiple truckloads of surplus milk from the USDA in January, full of thousands of half-gallons of milk. Milk and other fresh products like produce, meat, and eggs make up about two-thirds of the food distributed by the Food Bank. Last year, the Greater Cleveland Food Bank made possible 57.3 million meals.
