Rep. Marcia Fudge Welcomes Donation of 6,500 Lbs. of Pork from Ohio Farmers to Food Bank

The Ohio Pork Council (OPC) has joined with generous supporters; the Ohio Association of Meat Processors, the Ohio Corn Marketing Program and many Ohio pig farmers and businesses to support the Greater Cleveland Food Bank with a donation of 6,500 pounds of pork. Rep. Marcia Fudge, D-Ohio, chairwoman of the Congressional Black Caucus, will be present to show appreciation for the donation. The protein-packed pork, which will provide more than 32,500 meals to hungry families in the Cleveland area just in time for Easter, will arrive at the Greater Cleveland Food Bank at 10:00am on Monday, April 14, 2014.
