Food to Support His Wife's Health

Glenn retired from his job as a painter to take care of his wife who has a kidney disease right before the pandemic hit. Taking care of his wife and making sure she gets the healthy food and medicine she needs is Glenn’s priority.

The Food Bank’s Senior Distribution provides Glenn with the opportunity to take home foods that will help support his wife’s health. “I’ve been coming here for about a year. I get a lot of things because I have a sick wife. She needs juices and healthy food. This helps us a lot.”

Glenn appreciates the help he and his wife receive from the Senior Distribution program and would like donors and volunteers to know how thankful he is. “It’s a beautiful thing to know that someone else understands [what you’re going through].”
