Grateful for Help

In her 40s, Donna suffered a debilitating stroke — rendering her disabled and alone. Brain surgeries ensued while medical bills were stacked. Without the help of family or friends, Donna was forced to empty her savings and fend for herself. Food became scarce. Costlier, healthy nutrition became unattainable. Hope became distant as well. That’s when a neighbor told Donna about our partner distribution site at St. Mary’s Food Pantry in Painesville.
