Cause Marketing

Creating a cause marketing campaign is a simple and effective way to support the Food Bank.

You can collect funds from your customers and staff, provide critical support for our hunger relief efforts, and promote your business. The Food Bank works closely with partners to provide campaign collateral and marketing support for cause marketing campaigns. There are many ways to engage your customers and the community in the fight to end hunger. Here are some examples of successful partnerships:

  • Breadsmith of Lakewood donates nearly $8,000 a year through change collections at their register.
  • Rascal House donates $9 from every Slice Pass sold during their holiday campaign.
  • Carol & John’s Comic Book Shop runs an annual Art Show where all proceeds from cover raffles are donated to the food bank, over $6,000 in 2022!
  • JACK Cleveland allows customers to choose the food bank as a charitable cause when cashing out your vouchers.
  • Hermes Sports partners with the food bank for the Turkey Trot and 10-Miler races to allow registrants to donate to the food bank.

Cheesecake Factory

The Cheesecake Factory is adding a new Classic Basque Cheesecake to the menu for National Cheesecake Day 2022.  For every slice of the new Classic Basque Cheesecake sold from July 30, 2022, through July 29, 2023, they will donate $0.25 to Feeding America. 

Amazon Smile

Amazon donates 0.5% of the price of your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank when you select us from the list of non-profits to benefit from your purchases. Support the Food Bank by shopping at smile.amazon.com.

BoxLunch

With every $10 spent across the retailers’ pop culture-themed products, BoxLunch will help provide one meal (0.10) to a person in need through the Feeding America© network of food banks with an initial minimum commitment of $500,000. Customers can also round up their orders in-store and online.
