Cause Marketing

Creating a cause marketing campaign is a simple and effective way to support the Food Bank. You can collect funds from your customers and staff, provide critical support for our hunger relief efforts, and promote your business. The Food Bank works closely with partners to provide campaign collateral and marketing support for cause marketing campaigns.

There are many ways to engage your customers and the community in the fight to end hunger. Here are some examples of successful partnerships:

  • Dunkin’ Donuts locations sold icons in-store for $1 each and raised more than $106,000 in a month.
  • Breadsmith of Lakewood donates nearly $8,000 a year through change collections at their register.
  • Dewey’s Pizza made a $5,000 donation after contributing $5 per large pizza sold for a week at 3 locations.
  • H. Jack's Plumbing & Heating Co. donated a portion of proceeds and inspired other local companies to join their campaign, raising over $40,000 to fight hunger.

Customers can make monetary donations of $1, $5, or $10 at the register to the Harvest for Hunger campaign. 

Dunkin’ Donuts Icon Campaign | April 1 – 30
Stop by your local Northeast Ohio Dunkin’ location to purchase an icon for $1 to benefit Harvest for Hunger!

Luna Bakery Cafe Food Bank Cookies | April 12 – 25 | Cleveland Heights & Moreland Hills Locations
For each select delicious cookie sold at Luna Bakery Cafe, 50% will benefit the Greater Cleveland Food Bank’s Harvest for Hunger Campaign. 

Cleveland Cavaliers & Nocking Point Wines
Cavs Cab - The Official Wine of The Cleveland Cavaliers! Nocking Point Wines and the Cleveland Cavaliers commemorate their partnership with this one-of-a-kind, exclusive, Cleveland original. The artwork was created by local Cleveland artist, Aaron Sechrist, in collaboration with the Cavs organization and creative team. Cavs legend Austin Carr personally curated this very special wine blend sourced from the highest quality Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from Washington State, and each bottle sold will raise money for The Greater Cleveland Food Bank.

Breadsmith Lakewood
Customers can donate their change at the register to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. Stop in, grab a delicious baked good, and donate!

For every purchase of any Cleveland-inspired item from ILTHY, four meals will be donated to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank.

Tito’s Handmade Vodka Assists for Hunger Relief
The Cavs and the Monsters hockey team have teamed up this season with Tito’s Handmade Vodka to support Assists for Hunger Relief. For every assist made by the Cavs and Monsters this season, Tito’s will donate $10 to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. 

Giant Eagle Food for Threes
This season, Giant Eagle is teaming up with the Cleveland Cavaliers to fight food insecurity with the Giant Eagle Food for Threes campaign. For every three-pointer the Cavs make during the regular season, Giant Eagle will donate $25 dollars to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank to help put food on the table of those who need it most.

AT&T Fiber Internet Services Campaign | March 1 – June 1 
Now, when you sign up for AT&T Fiber, you'll have the option to donate all or part of your $100 in rewards to Feeding America.

Crocs Cares | January 1, 2021 – December 31, 2021
Every time a consumer completes a purchase in one of Crocs U.S. retail stores or on, they can add a donation in an amount of their choosing to go directly to Feeding America. 

The Cheesecake Factory | July 30, 2020 - July 29, 2021
For every slice of Chocolate Caramelicious Cheesecake Made with Snickers sold now until July 29, 2021, The Cheesecake Factory will donate a portion to Feeding America. 

Pampered Chef - Round Up From the Heart | September 1, 2020 – August 31, 2021
Each year, Pampered Chef introduces a limited edition product to help raise funds for Feeding America®. Starting Sept 1, 2020, Pampered Chef launched Serve Up a Little Kindness, which will provide at least 10 meals* to Feeding America for each Silicone and Wood Utensil set sold. This is a special year and item as Pampered Chef is celebrating their 40th anniversary!
