Community Gardens

In an effort to expand our nutritional programming, we maintain an on-site garden.

The Greater Cleveland Food Bank operates a garden at our facility in the Collinwood neighborhood.

In an effort to expand our nutritional programming, we maintain a vibrant garden. The garden typically includes tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, lettuce, collard greens, green beans, zucchini and a variety of herbs.

Our staff and volunteers help care for and maintain the garden. Materials are often donated by various groups and businesses in the area. The harvest is used in the Food Bank Kitchen and for nutrition education at Summer Feeding programs and Kids Cafes.
