Harvest for Hunger/Other Ways to Get Involved

There are many ways to get involved with Harvest for Hunger! See the list below for different ways you can join in the fight against hunger: 


1. Donate Online

Make a DonationFor every $1 donated, the Greater Cleveland Food Bank can provide four nutritious meals!


2. Host a food and/or funds drive

You can hold one at your workplace, school, place of worship, or in your neighborhood. 


3. Organize a Virtual Food Drive 

If you are interested in hosting a Virtual Food Drive, we will be unveiling a new tool this February to help you raise funds online. Contact Samantha Martin at smartin@clevelandfoodbank.org to get started.


4. Find out if your workplace offers a matching gift

Many companies throughout Northeast Ohio match their employees’ charitable contributions. You may be able to at least double your Harvest for Hunger donation!


5. Donate through Check Out Hunger

Customers can make monetary donations of $1, $5, or $10 at the register to the campaign. Food collections will also take place at local Giant Eagle, Heinen’s, Dave’s Market, Buehler’s, Fisher Foods locations.


6. Join us at Market at the Food Bank 

Attend our annual Market at the Food Bank event on Sunday, April 30. Visit www.greaterclevelandfoodbank.org/market to purchase tickets!


7. Spread the word on social media

8. Volunteer
