  • Nourish CLE: Keeping Cleveland's Fo...

Cleveland has become one of the Midwest's top dining destinations. The national food press - Gourmet, Food & Wine and Esquire - have praised Cleveland's chefs and innovative food scene. What many fail to realize, however, is that food provides nourishment to Clevelanders in a myriad of ways beyond outstanding restaurants.

Come hear from local entrepreneurs, farmers, advocates and chefs about the exciting and unique ways Clevelanders get and provide food to others. PechaKucha is a simple PowerPoint presentation format in which a speaker presents 20 images, each for 20 seconds. This event is free an open to those who wants to expand their palate - and their mind.

Presenters Include:
Ben Bebenroth, Spice Acres Farm
Trevor Clatterbuck, Co-Founder, Fresh Fork Market
Brandon Chrostowski, EDWINS Restaurant & Leadership Institute
Joe Eiben, Greater Cleveland Food Bank
Maggie Fitzpatrick, The Refugee Response, Ohio City Farm
Melissa Khoury, Saucisson
Sheldon Lawrence, Bridge of Hope
Brad Mohr, Grind2Energy Program at FirstEnergy Stadium
